Prayer Doesn’t Change Things

Nothing encourages a pastor more than knowing that His church is falling in love with prayer.  God is impacting Impact Church through prayer.  This morning we had 40+ callers on our prayer conference call.  The Spirit of faith is ever-increasing and we are about to see God move mightily in our church!

I disagree with the statement, “Prayer changes things.” Prayer doesn’t change things as much as it changes us. When we connect with the perfect will of God in our lives, things begin to just happen for us. It’s called the favor of God.  Jesus had it and so can we.

We are in a continual faithful stage of prayer, which is building a continual attitude of expectation. And it’s in this season where we will expect the Lord to change us.

I believe we play the major role in the outcome of our destiny.  And that’s only because God’s playing the major role in our personal lives.  He desires to tie himself to human cooperation for the execution of divine purposes.
