After 10 years of ministry in the Miami region, God has done many great things through us. And as it is true for anyone in the ministry, we’ve had our good times and not so good times. Fortunately, we’ve had more good times then the others. God has been great!
Out of all that we’ve accomplished thus far, I would have to say that my pride and joy in ministry has been the many men and women of God that I’ve had the privilege to train in the ministry. They are true spiritual sons and daughters in the faith. And from them thus far, we’ve been able to send out two couples to plant churches.
I’m very proud to always indicate and testify what God has done through the lives of those two couples. We now have two vibrant and healthy daughter churches!
On of them is Iglesisa Casa de Luz in Lima, Peru, which is led by Lazaro and Janet Perez. The church is growing steadily and is experiencing the power of God. I’ll share more on the church and their pastors in a later blog – I’m so proud of them! 🙂
The other one is Iglesia Vida Nueva in Clewiston, Florida. The original founders of the church gave to me the remnants of what remained, a building and twelve people. Unfortunately, the pastors that were placed there by the founders drove the initial church into the ground. But when we came in, we put in Landy and Maritza Posadas and the rest is history! The church has grown by leaps and bounds. They are now filling up the building! They have a food bank, which feeds about 500-700 families a week! They also have a computer lab in which they offer free education to people in need. They are touching and connecting with their region! They love the city that God has called them to.
Their growth is now in need of direction and structure. That is why this Sunday night, October 30th, Victoria and I, along with all the people of Impact Church will be traveling to Clewiston to celebrate with them as we anoint and put in place their new elders and deacons! I’m so proud of Pastors Landy and Maritza, hard praying and hard work pays huge dividends!
This is a very special time of celebration and honor. We are expecting God’s hand to move mightily. This brings such a joy to me! It makes the pain of ministry be well worth it.
If you are part of Impact Church, your pastor strongly request your presence. We’ll be leaving at 4:30 pm. 🙂
