I received a very encouraging text this morning from one of our staff pastors. It’s refreshing being on the receiving end of a Word from God. She shared a certain scripture, along with a word of encouragement, which brought to light a promise we’ve been pursuing for quite some time. It brought me to tears. I needed that!
I’m a firm believer that our daily learning diet should be more of a reminding diet. Unfortunately, the battles of life have a tendency of causing us to forget the things we should remember and remember the things we should forget. That’s why we should RENEW our minds on a daily basis with His Word.
All throughout the history of scripture, God reminded his children of the covenant he made with Abraham. His promises are always YES and AMEN! I’m not certain of what you’re going through today, but God’s WORD is certain. I’ll leave you with this word of promise and encouragement – remember this:
No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.
And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:37-39
