My daughter Calysta has been training very hard for the IDC National Competition. She’s been training about 10 hours a day, not including her personal training of weight lifting and aerobics. She has a very good chance of winning Miss IDC, which is the all around champion based on the scores of the judges in her interview, solo dances along with all her group performances. The competition is next week in Ordando, but there’s a problem…
Calysta severely injured her right foot and toe in one of her practices. After many x-rays at the urgent care clinic and at an orthopedic surgeon in Weston, they concluded that nothing is broken. She has the clearance to perform, but the doctor said that she will be in excruciating pain with the high probability of re-injureing. This competition carries the potential of increasing her value in the dance industry, thus allowing for more exposure – whether for universities or dance companies.
Again, please pray for a complete healing of her foot and toe…. thanks.
