I’ve been nursing a severe back injury since last Tuesday. And one thing I can tell you is that I can’t wait until I’m back to full capacity. I’ve come to realize that every situation in our lives carry a lesson that reinforces a Kingdom principle. In this case, I’ve learned something about recovery.
I hate injuries… they are momentum stoppers. They disconnect us from the fray and make us feel impotent. All of us get injured from time to time; but it’s the recovery process that’ll determine whether the injury will pay another visit in the near future
There are a couple of ways of living life with minimal injuries 1. Stay true to your training – do not veer from it. Your workouts and daily routines will keep you from falling prey to injuries. 2. If and when you are injured, don’t chastise your recovery process. Face the truth and realize that you are weak and in need of help. You must take time off and away in order for full restoration to occur. So, when you announce your comeback, you will be as powerful as ever!
By the way, I know my back is currently injured and I’m recovering, but the premise to this blog is about SPIRITUAL INJURIES… I guess physical injuries apply as well. Hmm…
Anxious to read your thoughts,
